Commercial Estimator – S&L Lumber

S&L Lumber is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints and specifications, completing material takeoffs, preparing accurate bids, and coordinating with vendors and contractors on commercial projects.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and estimating software. The ideal applicant is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience in commercial lumber and building materials estimating is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits available based on experience.

Candidates should have a minimum of three (3) years of commercial estimating experience or at least three years of previous framing, field supervision, or project management experience within commercial construction. Strong blueprint reading, material takeoff, and communication skills are required.

Applicants should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Knowledge of commercial building practices, structural components, and lumber/building materials is preferred. Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office is a plus.
