| Position Description | Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Crusher Foreman to lead daily operations for our crusher at RAP Management. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, maintaining consistent RAP quality, ensuring safe operations, and coordinating production to support asphalt plant demands. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on crushing experience, and a deep understanding of RAP processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct all RAP crushing operations
- Lead crusher operators
- Ensure RAP is produced to required gradation and cleanliness specifications
- Monitor and adjust crusher, screen, and conveyor settings to maintain quality and throughput
- Coordinate RAP feed material, stockpile management, and material flow
- Conduct daily safety checks and enforce OSHA/MSHA compliance
- Perform daily equipment inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
- Track production, downtime, and inventory levels
- Work closely with QC, asphalt plant staff, and management to meet production needs
- Maintain housekeeping standards around the crusher and stockpile areas
- Train, coach, and mentor current crusher employee personnel

| Skills/Experience Needed: | Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in aggregate or RAP crushing operations
- Previous foreman, lead operator, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of fixed crusher plants, screens, and material flow
- Experience producing RAP for asphalt mix designs (12.5 mm, 9.5 mm, 5 mm, etc.)
- Ability to adjust crusher settings to meet gradation targets
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of preventive maintenance
- Ability to operate or supervise loaders, dozer and excavator
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and walk uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak production periods
- Willingness to work overtime
