What our Project Managers do…

Every day is different for our Project Managers! Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team: You’ll lead, manage, and hold accountable field project teams, providing guidance & support to ensure that team members meet project milestones – while maintaining a high degree of safety across the jobsite. You and the field crews will work together towards successful project completion, and you’ll support the project team in a variety of ways including material ordering and purchase order execution.
  • Monitor the project life cycle from start to finish: You’ll own the full scope of the project contract, negotiating changes, maximizing profit through efficient project management practices, monitor expenditures, identify variances, implement corrective actions, and manage project budgets. You’ll carefully monitor project progress to ensure milestones, timelines and deliverables are met while staying on or under budget. Your understanding and interpretation of project documents, including blueprints, scope of work, proposals, contracts, schedules will allow you to effectively process RFI’s, change orders, pay applications, and project specific documents while ensuring project documentation is completed accurate and timely. You’ll look for areas of continuous improvement, documenting lessons learned and best practices for future reference while identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Identify and solve problems and manage risk: You’ll identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies regularly, always being forward thinking to assess project risks and adjust plans accordingly. You’ll proactively address issues to prevent project delays or deviations from the established plan.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with all stakeholders, both internally and externally: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, you’ll provide regular project updates, address concerns and manage expectations while ensuring client satisfaction by delivering high quality, on-time project outcomes.

Our Ideal Project Managers have…

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience with project management processes Electrical field experience
  • An understanding of project documents
  • ERP software and Microsoft Office experience
  • Financial literacy
