Who Are We?

Bowden Fence Company is Columbus’ premier fencing company. With a superior commitment to quality and our customers, we have a 41 year history of serving the greater Columbus community. Establishing great relationships with both residential and commercial clients, we install aluminum, wood, chain link, and vinyl fences. In addition, we custom weld and manufacture gates of all sizes, including cantilever gates, and install & maintain automatic gate operators as well.

Who Are You?

A leader with at least 2+ years of fencing experience and a go-getter with a zest for working outdoors. Installing fences is not for wimps- it’s hard work and we aim for the highest customer satisfaction in the work we do. Eager to lead & serve your crew of 2-4 installers with a great attitude and eager to help wherever needed, while keeping safety at the forefront of your mind.

Your responsibilities will include customer interaction with the homeowner to specify the estimated plans, ongoing customer communication, project management, laying out the jobs, accountability with team members performance, upholding strong standards for equipment usage and maintenance.

Labor costs are the largest soft costs within our business and seeing through the crew’s commitment to maintain a diligent work ethic to complete each job in a timely fashion is critical. Strong leadership skills with a knack for getting others to follow your lead & direction on projects is expected.

Expected Hours: Monday- Thursday 7 AM - 5 PM/ 4-10 hour days. Rain/weather delays can prompt us to work Fridays/Saturdays if needed.

Mandatory Friday morning meeting at 9:30 AM 10 AM to discuss next week’s projects.

Qualifications Desired:

• Prior fence installation experience
• Comfortable using hand tools & powered digging implements
• Ambitious about your own personal growth & open to training
• Ability to be multifaceted & learn how to install & repair different types of materials
• Physically fit & able to lift 100 pounds
• Active Drivers license

Compensation:

• $22-$26/ hour + Medical & Aflac Benefits & 401k matching (after 30 days)
• 2 Weeks Vacation
• Paid Company Holidays (9)
